Port Otago, Port Chalmers
Queenstown Expeditions is proud to be an approved operator with access to Port Otago for Cruise Ship passengers at Port Chalmers in Dunedin. The New Zealand Maritime Security Act 2004 and associated regulations require all those entering ports that service international shipping to work within set rules.
DOC – Department of Conservation New Zealand
We are the government agency charged with conserving New Zealand’s natural and historic heritage. Queenstown Expeditions is approved to operate in the National Parks of New Zealand. This requires special DOC Cards to be displayed in all vehicles entering park area’s.

Qualmark is New Zealand tourism’s official mark of quality and the world’s first integrated quality assurance system. You can book and buy with confidence knowing that an operator displaying this badge has been independently assessed as being professional and trustworthy. Businesses have to meet an extensive list of criteria to be awarded this New Zealand visitor industry standard.
Safety First – Onboard Vehicle Survival Bag
Our vehicles travel through remote and rugged country; this is what it makes it so spectacular. However, there is always the chance when travelling in any wilderness area that a bus can be delayed in getting to its destination due to reasons outside of our control. Our vehicle carries full emergency first aid and survival kits, allowing us to provide comfort and shelter to our travelers in all contingencies.
