Secrets of The South Tour

Day 1 – Queenstown & Arrowtown Sightseeing then travel onwards to Dunedin Pick up from your overnight accommodation, the tour departs at 7.30am from your hotel where your guide will be waiting for you. Start the day in Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world with an incredible Shotover Jet Boat Ride through the famous Shotover River Canyons. Take in historic Arrowtown as we continue our gold experience, hold gold nuggets in your hand and hear about the amazing history of this area and its gold. This is where lunch will be provided. From here we start our journey to the historic city of Dunedin known as the Edinburgh of the South. Settling into your accommodation in Dunedin where Accommodation and Dinner is provided.

• Day 2 –

Dunedin Sightseeing All Day After breakfast we embark on a unique Dunedin Heritage Tour and city sightseeing. Experience the historic Larnach Castle with high tea and refreshments provided. Taking in the spectacular Dunedin harbor and its surroundings. Offsite dinner tonight is at one of the local boutique brewery’s Dunedin has to offer. Accommodation and dinner provided.

• Day 3 –

Dunedin to Queenstown, Via Barewood Station & Central Otago After breakfast Departing Dunedin we travel through the Otago highlands, a region of amazing history and atmosphere towards our first stop at Barewood High Country Station, here you will meet with real New Zealand farmers visiting a high-quality New Zealand Station off the beaten track. Travelling back through Central Otago we will head to the old Vulcan Hotel at St Bathan’s relating back to the Gold Mining days of the 1800’s before making our way back to Queenstown where accommodation is provided. Evening at your own leisure.
